When does the CBSE Class 9 test series start?
On 20 October 2026, and the plans run until 1 April 2027.
Does the test series cover the new Class 9 Maths and Science levels?
The papers follow the latest Class 9 syllabus. Practising full written answers with step-wise checking is the best preparation for both the standard and the optional advanced paper.
Which subjects are offered for CBSE Class 9?
English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science and Social Science.
Is Class 9 important for the Class 10 boards?
Yes. The Class 10 syllabus builds on Class 9 topics, so chapters left weak in Class 9 usually cost marks again in the board year.
Can I try a Class 9 paper before buying?

The complete guide

CBSE Class 9 Test Series

What is new in CBSE Class 9 for 2026-27?

CBSE has introduced two levels in Class 9 Mathematics and Science from the 2026-27 session. According to Careers360's report of CBSE's revised curriculum (April 2026), every student writes a standard paper, and students who want more can also take an optional advanced paper, which is reported to be a shorter paper testing deeper understanding, with the result shown separately on the mark sheet. Check the exact pattern with your school and on the CBSE academic website, since schools will share the final scheme.

For students, the practical point is simple: the advanced level rewards clear reasoning and complete working, which is exactly what written, checked tests train.

Why practise Class 9 with checked papers?

Class 9 is the first year in which the paper looks like a board paper: longer answers, case-based questions and step marks in Maths and Science. The Class 10 syllabus builds directly on Class 9 topics, so a weak chapter now usually becomes a weak chapter in the board year.

Every paper you upload comes back within 48 hours with marks on each answer and remarks on what was missing. Over a few tests, that shows a clear pattern of where marks are lost.

Which Class 9 subjects are covered?

English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science and Social Science, on the latest syllabus for 2026-27. There is one test for every chapter and two full-syllabus mock tests per subject. Tests start on 20 October 2026 and the plan runs until 1 April 2027.

Which plan fits a Class 9 student?

  • Test Series: every chapter test plus both mocks, checked within 48 hours.
  • Mentorship Program: everything in the Test Series plus daily targets and a study schedule, useful if your child is aiming for the advanced level and needs a steady routine.
  • Full Syllabus Mock Tests: the two mocks per subject on their own, for final practice before the annual exam.

Looking ahead, our CBSE Class 10 test series follows the same checking method for the board year. Try one paper free first.
