The complete guide
CBSE Class 7 Test Series
What makes Class 7 different from Class 6?
The NCERT books for Class 7 cover more ground. Maths, for example, now comes in two parts of Ganita Prakash, and Science moves from describing things to explaining why they happen. Answers get longer, and children who did well on short answers in Class 6 often lose marks here on explanation and working.
That is the gap a written test series fills: your child writes a full answer, and the checked copy shows which step or which point was missing.
Which subjects are covered in Class 7?
English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. The papers follow the NCERT books schools use for Class 7 in 2026-27, including Ganita Prakash (Parts 1 and 2), Curiosity for Science, Exploring Society: India and Beyond for Social Science, Poorvi for English, Malhar for Hindi and Deepakam for Sanskrit.
How are Class 7 answer sheets checked?
- Every answer gets marks, not just the paper as a whole.
- Maths answers are checked step by step, so a correct method with a small slip still earns most of the marks.
- Remarks point out what a full answer needed, for example a missing reason in Science or a missing example in Social Science.
- The checked copy comes back within 48 hours, while the chapter is still fresh.
How should a Class 7 student use the tests?
- Write the chapter test within a week of finishing the chapter in school.
- Read the remarks with a parent or teacher and redo the questions that lost the most marks.
- Keep the two full mock tests for the last month before the annual exams.
There is one test for every chapter and two full-syllabus mocks per subject. Tests start on 20 October 2026 and the plan runs until 1 April 2027. The Mentorship plan adds daily targets and a study schedule if you want the planning done for you.
