How a CA test series actually helps you score

Most CA students who fall short know the chapter. They lose marks in how they write it: a correct figure with no working note, a law answer with no section quoted, or a case scenario answered without stating an assumption. ICAI gives marks step by step, so these gaps cost more than students expect. You only see them when someone else checks your written answer the way an ICAI examiner would.

That is the job of a test series. You write a paper in exam conditions, an examiner marks every answer, and the remarks show you exactly where the marks went. Then you write the next paper and check whether the same mistake came back.

CA test series for each level

CA Foundation

Foundation has four papers. Accounting and Business Laws are written papers, and Quantitative Aptitude and Business Economics are objective, with negative marking. Both kinds need practice: presentation and format for the written papers, and speed and accuracy for the MCQs. The January 2027 exams are on 3, 5, 7 and 9 January. See the CA Foundation test series.

CA Inter

Each of the six Inter papers carries 30 marks of case-scenario MCQs and 70 marks of descriptive answers. Students often prepare the descriptive part well and then lose easy marks on the MCQs, or the other way round. For January 2027, Group I is on 2, 4 and 6 January and Group II on 8, 10 and 12 January. CA Final

At Final, the gap between a pass and a near miss is usually presentation and time. Financial Reporting and AFM reward clear working notes. The tax and audit papers reward the right provision applied to the facts. The November 2026 exams run from 2 to 13 November, and the next attempt is May 2027. See the CA Final test series.

How the checking works

1. Pick your level, attempt and format: chosen chapters, every chapter, part-wise papers, full-syllabus mock tests, or the every-chapter series with a mentor.
2. Download the paper and write it by hand at home, in the real time limit.
3. Scan all the pages of your answer sheet into one PDF and upload it.
4. Get your copy back within 48 hours, checked by an ex-examiner, with marks for each step and a remark on every answer.

Which format should you choose?

• Chapter-wise tests suit you while the syllabus is still in progress. Test each chapter right after you finish it, while it is fresh.
• Part-wise papers suit the stage where you have finished a few chapters together and want to test them as one block.
• Full-syllabus mock tests belong in the last six to eight weeks. Write at least two full papers per subject in three hours before the exam.
• The series with a mentor suits students who want someone to read their checked copies with them and turn the remarks into a revision plan.
