When does the CBSE Class 11 test series start?
On 20 October 2026, and the plans run until 1 April 2027.
Can I choose only some Class 11 subjects?
Yes. Class 11 is subject-wise. You can pick any of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies and Physical Education.
Why do marks drop in Class 11?
The syllabus jumps in depth, especially in Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Accountancy. Writing chapter tests and seeing exactly where marks are lost is the quickest way to recover.
Is Class 11 important for Class 12 and entrance exams?
Yes. Class 12 builds on Class 11 concepts, and exams like JEE and NEET include topics from both years.

The complete guide

CBSE Class 11 Test Series

Why is Class 11 the hardest jump in school?

The step from Class 10 to Class 11 is bigger than any before it. Physics and Mathematics move from formula use to derivations and multi-step problems, Chemistry adds a lot of new theory, and commerce students meet Accountancy as a full subject for the first time. Many students who scored well in Class 10 see their marks fall in the first Class 11 unit tests.

Class 11 also sets up Class 12. The Class 12 subjects build on Class 11 concepts, and entrance exams such as JEE and NEET draw on both years. A chapter left weak in Class 11 rarely fixes itself later.

Which Class 11 subjects are available?

Class 11 is subject-wise, so you choose exactly what you study:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Accountancy
  • Economics
  • Business Studies
  • Physical Education

How does checking help in Class 11 subjects?

  • Physics and Mathematics: marks for each step, so you can see whether the method or the calculation went wrong.
  • Chemistry: remarks on missing equations, conditions and units, which is where most marks go.
  • Accountancy: format and working notes are checked, not just the final balance.
  • Economics and Business Studies: answers are marked against the points a full answer needs.

There is one test for every chapter and two full-syllabus mock tests per subject, on the latest syllabus. Every paper comes back checked within 48 hours. Tests start on 20 October 2026 and the plan runs until 1 April 2027.

Which plan suits a Class 11 student?

If you are balancing school with entrance preparation, the Mentorship plan adds daily targets and a study schedule on top of the tests, which keeps the school subjects from slipping. The Test Series plan suits students who plan well on their own, and the Full Syllabus Mock Tests plan is for practice before the annual exam.
