Best Audit Faculty for CA Final (May 2027): 8 Options Compared on Facts

There is no single best Audit faculty for CA Final. For May 2027, the right one depends on the language you follow best, whether you want live classes or recordings, how many months you have left, and which part of the paper you are weakest in, such as ethics or the specialised chapters. The eight below are listed alphabetically, not ranked.

Pick a course you can finish by February, then judge it by whether you can write a case-study answer the way ICAI's suggested answers do.

Who are the well-known Audit faculty for CA Final (May 2027)?

I took the first eight faculty with a full Audit course in the CA Final Audit section of a large course platform, in its default order, on 23 October 2026. Anything a listing did not state is left out.

CA Aarti Lahoti

Credentials listed: Chartered Accountant, Audit faculty at AS Foundation. About 140 hours in English, recorded in September 2025, on Google Drive with printed books, with 12 months' validity and a 1.5x view limit. Price ₹9,500. Sold for November 2026 and May 2027.

CA Kapil Goyal

Credentials listed: CA at 22, articleship at S.S. Kothari Mehta & Co., then KPMG's statutory audit division. 120 hours in Hindi-English mix, recorded in December 2025, on Google Drive with printed books, with 24 months' validity and a 2x view limit. Price ₹7,999, with live doubt-solving three times a week.

Prof. Neeraj Arora

Listed as Prof. Neeraj Arora, Faridabad. 150 hours in Hindi-English mix with English study material. May 2027 buyers get the March 2026 recording on Google Drive or app with printed books, with 3 years' validity and a 2x view limit. Price from ₹5,249.

CA Pankaj Garg

Credentials listed: Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost Accountant, All India Topper in ICAI examinations. 150 to 158 hours in Hindi-English mix, on Google Drive or app with printed books, with a 1.5x view limit. Validity is 4 months at ₹6,000 or 12 months at ₹8,000. May 2027 buyers get a new recording that starts on 1 December 2026.

CA Pragnesh Kanabar

Credentials listed: Chartered Accountant who says he has taught over 50,000 CA students. 140 to 145 hours in Hindi-English mix, recorded in April 2026, on Google Drive or app, with 6 to 24 months' validity and a 1.5x or 2x view limit, from ₹7,550. A live course runs 1 November to 31 December 2026 at ₹10,750. His 140-hour English course (August 2025 recording) also starts at ₹7,550.

CA Rishabhh Jainn

Credentials listed: Chartered Accountant (name spelt as on the listing). 165 hours in Hindi-English mix, recorded between November 2025 and January 2026, on Google Drive with printed books, with 24 months' validity. Price ₹7,499 with a 1.7x view limit, or ₹8,999 with 2x. Sold for attempts up to November 2027.

CA Sarthak Jain

Credentials listed: Chartered Accountant, All India Rank 46 in CA Final. 150 hours in Hindi-English mix, recorded from 30 June 2026, on Google Drive, app or pen drive with printed books, with 24 months' validity and a 1.7x view limit. Price from ₹8,000. Covers November 2026 and May 2027.

CA Shubham Keswani

Credentials listed: Chartered Accountant with an All India Rank (AIR 8, per the demo title). 150 hours in Hindi-English mix. The current course runs from 1 September to 30 November 2026, 7 am to 10 am, Monday to Saturday, about 60% of it live, and is also sold on Google Drive or app. Validity is 24 months with a 1.7x view limit, at ₹7,499 with printed books. His English full course is listed only for November 2026.

What must a good Audit faculty cover for May 2027?

ICAI's study material page for Paper 3, Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics, is titled "Applicable for May 2027 Exam Onwards" and carries the September 2026 edition. Its list of changes from the November 2024 edition shows what your faculty's notes should have:

• Practice questions at the end of every chapter.
• Chapter 14, banks and NBFCs: amendments in bold italics.
• Chapter 16, internal audit: updated for the revised Standards on Internal Audit.
• Chapter 19, ethics: updated for the revised Code of Ethics. It now cites the Code of Ethics, 2026.

The syllabus names SQC 1 and SAs from SA 220 to SA 720. ICAI had not published its applicability list for May 2027 on 23 October 2026. For context, the May 2026 list made amendments issued up to 31 October 2025 examinable, six months before that exam.

How does ICAI weight the sections?

ICAI's weightage table (October 2023, for May 2024 onwards until changed): chapters 1 to 11, from quality control and the SAs to prospective financial information, 45-55%; digital auditing 3-6%; chapters 13 to 17, group audits to forensic accounting, 17-24%; SDG and ESG assurance 3-6%; professional ethics alone 17-24%. A course that rushes chapter 19 leaves you short.

What does the Audit paper look like?

Paper 3 is 100 marks in 3 hours. In May 2026, Part I had 15 MCQs of 2 marks each, most set on long integrated case scenarios. In Part II, Question 1 was compulsory and you answered four of the other five, each worth 14 marks split 5, 5 and 4. More in our guide to the ICAI paper pattern under the new scheme.

For May 2027, pick a course built on the September 2026 edition that gives ethics and the reporting SAs real time.

How do you judge an Audit demo lecture?

1. Watch a demo on a hard topic, such as SA 701 or ethics, not the introduction.
2. Check that each point cites its SA or Chartered Accountants Act clause.
3. See whether case scenarios are solved as ICAI's suggested answers do it: provision, facts, conclusion.
4. Look for the September 2026 changes to chapters 16 and 19.
5. Watch 30 minutes, then write one answer from memory.

Where do students lose marks in Audit?

What I see in checked Audit copies:

• No provision. "The auditor should qualify" earns little without the SA or clause behind it.
• Facts left unused. A memorised paragraph that ignores the case's amounts and dates loses to a short answer that uses them.
• No clear conclusion. Each case answer needs a last line that says which opinion or which misconduct clause applies.
• Ethics left for the end. At 17-24% of the paper, chapter 19 cannot wait for the last week.
