There is no single best accounts faculty for CA Inter Advanced Accounting. Choose on four things: the language you follow best, live or recorded classes, the weeks left before your attempt, and your weak areas in the paper. The six faculty below are in alphabetical order, not ranked, with only the facts they publish, checked on 23 October 2026.

Pick a course you will actually finish before the exam, then spend the last month writing full papers.

TL;DR

  • Published courses run from 180 to about 330 hours, and full courses start at ₹3,499 for six months.
  • Standards and the framework carry 55% to 65% of the paper, so judge AS teaching first.
  • ICAI's own help for January 2027: live revision classes since 15 October, and mock tests on 19 November and 3 December 2026.

Well-known Advanced Accounting faculty for CA Inter (January and May 2027)

How I picked them: these names come up most for this paper on the big lecture-selling platforms and in the "best faculty" lists students share, checked on 23 October 2026. Facts come only from each faculty's own site or platform listing. Prices change with offers.

CA Aakash Kandoi

Credentials listed: CA, Dip IFS (ACCA, UK). His regular course for January 2027, May 2027 and later is in a Hindi-English mix on Google Drive: about 90 lectures and 230 hours, valid 1 year from activation, at ₹8,499 without books or ₹8,999 with them. Free AS revision videos are on his YouTube channel.

CA Anand Bhangariya

Swapnil Patni Classes lists him as a Chartered Accountant. His course has about 89 lectures and 210 to 230 hours in a Hindi-English mix, in Live or Google Drive mode, with Drive recordings sold for January, May and September 2027. The page shows ₹9,500, or ₹3,000 less without books, but no validity period. Free sample Accounts lectures are on the institute's site.

CA Chiranjeev Jain

His listing says he qualified in 2005, clearing every CA level in the first attempt, and holds ICAI's Diploma in Information System Audit and an MBA in Finance. The recorded course is 180 hours on Google Drive or a mobile app, for January and May 2027, in Hindi-English or a separate English version. It starts at ₹3,499 for 6 months. A demo is linked.

CA Jai Chawla

Vsmart Academy lists him as CA. His regular course ran live, with face-to-face classes in Pune, from 13 July to 20 October 2026, and every class is recorded: about 250 hours in Hindi-English, unlimited validity, a 1.5x view limit, ₹8,999, for May and September 2027. For January 2027 the site sells a shorter exam-oriented course at ₹4,999. Five demo lectures are on the course page.

CA Parveen Jindal

His listing says he cleared every CA level in the first attempt with merit. The course is 330 hours (about 194 lectures) in a Hindi-English mix, recorded in April 2025, for January 2027 onwards, on Google Drive or a mobile app. Validity is 3 years with a 1.5x view limit. It starts at ₹9,069 without books, or ₹6,035 for repeaters who share their last marksheet. A demo is linked.

CA Parveen Sharma

His own site says he was a rank holder at CA Intermediate and Final and has taught CA for 36+ years. The course has 137 recorded classes in Hindi and English, counted as 330 hours at 1.25x speed, on the web and in apps. Full classes cost ₹1,000 for 1 month or ₹9,897 for 12 months. The first classes are free demos, and AS revision videos are on YouTube. No target attempt is named.

All six sell recorded lectures. Jai Chawla and Anand Bhangariya also list a live mode.

Fact-based picks: which course matches your need?

  • English-medium course: CA Chiranjeev Jain (separate English version).
  • Shortest published course: CA Chiranjeev Jain, at 180 hours.
  • Longest validity: CA Jai Chawla (unlimited), then CA Parveen Jindal (3 years).
  • Live classes listed: CA Anand Bhangariya and CA Jai Chawla.
  • Monthly plans: CA Parveen Sharma, from ₹1,000 for one month.
  • Free AS revision videos on YouTube: CA Aakash Kandoi and CA Parveen Sharma.

These labels come from published facts. Only a demo lecture shows teaching quality.

What must a good Advanced Accounting faculty cover for 2027?

Paper 1 is 100 marks in 3 hours. ICAI's guidance note for the Intermediate exam says each paper has 30 marks of MCQs (1 or 2 marks each, no negative marking) and 70 marks of descriptive questions. A faculty who only solves long problems leaves the MCQs to luck.

Where do the marks sit?

ICAI's section-wise weightage splits the paper three ways:

  • Section I, 55% to 65%: the framework, applicability of standards, how standards are formed (Ind AS convergence and carve-outs), and 27 standards from AS 1 to AS 29.
  • Section II, 30% to 35%: company accounts under Schedule III (Division I), including the cash flow statement, buyback of securities and internal reconstruction.
  • Section III, 5% to 10%: branch accounts, including foreign branches.

Two scope limits: AS 21 covers a single subsidiary only (no acquisition on different dates, cross holdings, disposals or foreign subsidiaries), and AS 14 leaves out inter-company holdings. The other five papers are in our CA Inter chapter-wise weightage post.

Which study material applies to your attempt?

For January 2027, ICAI's study material notice names the July 2024 edition (reprint August 2025 onwards) plus the January 2027 RTP. For May 2027, ICAI has posted a new edition with the same chapter list. I found no amendment notice for this paper for either attempt on 23 October 2026. Ask which edition a faculty's notes follow.

Standards decide most of this paper, so test a faculty's AS teaching first.

How do you judge a demo lecture?

Watch one AS lecture and one company accounts lecture before you pay. Then:

  1. Check that the faculty explains why each treatment follows from the AS text, along with the journal entry.
  2. Look for a full Schedule III format drawn out, with notes to accounts.
  3. Count the ICAI study material, RTP and past-paper questions solved in class.
  4. Work out whether, at your pace, the course ends before your revision month.

Our January 2027 study plan shows how the weeks fill up. Still choosing between one group and both groups? Settle that first.

If a demo fails two of these checks, try another faculty.

What does ICAI give you for Advanced Accounting?

Write both mock tests as timed papers.

Where do students lose marks in Advanced Accounting?

What I see most in checked Advanced Accounting copies:

  • Working notes left out, so a wrong final figure earns no step marks.
  • Financial statements outside the Schedule III format, or without notes to accounts.
  • AS theory answers that state a conclusion without the paragraph logic behind it.
  • Cash flow items placed under the wrong activity.
  • Too long on one big question, leaving the last one half done.

Timed practice brings most of these marks back, and a checked copy shows which ones are yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1.Who is the best faculty for CA Inter Advanced Accounting?

Ans.

No one faculty is best for everyone. It depends on your language, live or recorded preference, time left and weak areas. A student with five months and shaky AS theory can take a 250-hour regular course; one with eight weeks needs something shorter. Watch one AS demo from two faculty before you decide.

Q2.Should I choose live or recorded classes for Advanced Accounting?

Ans.

Choose live if you need a fixed timetable to keep going, and recorded if your day is irregular. Recorded lectures let you pause before a long amalgamation problem and try it yourself first. A live course, like the one that ran from 13 July to 20 October 2026, ends on a set date, which helps students who fall behind on their own.

Q3.Is ICAI study material enough for Advanced Accounting without classes?

Ans.

It can be, if your accounting basics are strong. The study material covers every chapter, and ICAI adds RTPs, MTPs and live revision classes. A commerce graduate who is comfortable with company accounts may manage on self-study and timed MTPs. Someone stuck on consolidation is better off taking a teacher for that chapter at least.

Q4.Which CA Inter Advanced Accounting faculty teaches in English?

Ans.

Of the six in this guide, CA Chiranjeev Jain sells a separate English version of his course, of about 180 hours. The other five teach in a Hindi-English mix. If you follow Hindi poorly, watch a full demo lecture first, since the mix differs from one teacher to the next.

Q5.When should I start Advanced Accounting for May 2027?

Ans.

Start by December 2026 if you are taking a full regular course. At three hours a day, a 300-hour course takes about 100 days, which leaves the last two months for revision and MTPs. For January 2027, with about ten weeks left, a full course is too long; revise from the study material and write ICAI's MTPs.

Q6.How many accounting standards are in CA Inter Advanced Accounting?

Ans.

27. The syllabus covers every standard from AS 1 to AS 29 except AS 6 and AS 8, which are no longer in force. Section I, which holds the standards and the framework, carries 55% to 65% of the paper in ICAI's section-wise weightage.
