Maharashtra SSC Time Table 2027: Class 10 Exam Dates

The Maharashtra board (MSBSHSE) has fixed the SSC 2027 written exams for 15 February to 11 March 2027, with practicals, orals and internal assessment from 28 January to 13 February. The board announced these dates in a press note on 17 September 2026. The subject-wise time table, the PDF that tells you which paper falls on which day, is not out yet. Last year it came on 1 November.

Your Class 10 papers start on 15 February 2027. The day-by-day order will come in November, and the shape of the schedule rarely changes.

TL;DR

• SSC written exams: 15 February to 11 March 2027. Practical, oral, graded and internal assessment: 28 January to 13 February.
• HSC (Class 12) written exams: 8 February to 16 March 2027, with practicals from 20 January to 6 February.
• Subject-wise PDF: awaited on mahahsscboard.in. In 2026 it was released on 1 November.
• Hall tickets come through your school, usually in the last weeks of January.

When is the Maharashtra SSC exam 2027?

From 15 February to 11 March 2027 for the written papers. The practical, oral, graded and internal assessment component runs from 28 January to 13 February, before the written papers begin. The board announced the windows for both SSC and HSC together on 17 September 2026, and most reports of the press note, including Careers360 and UNI, carry these dates.

One portal has printed the SSC written window as 1 to 11 March. I have not found that in the board's note or in the mainstream reports, so I am going with 15 February. When the board uploads the subject-wise PDF on mahahsscboard.in, that document settles it.

What changes from 2026

The 2026 SSC exams ran from 20 February to 18 March. The 2027 window is five days earlier at the start and a week earlier at the end, so the whole schedule is tighter by about a week. If you were planning on last year's dates, move your revision forward.

Written papers run from 15 February to 11 March 2027. Internals and practicals are done by 13 February.

When will the subject-wise SSC time table 2027 be released?

The board has not given a date. In 2026 the subject-wise time table was published on 1 November 2025 for exams that began on 20 February 2026, about three and a half months ahead. On that pattern, expect the 2027 PDF in the first half of November 2026, on mahahsscboard.in under the SSC examination section. Your school will also receive it and put it on the notice board.

Watch the official site, not forwarded PDFs. Every year an old time table with the year changed goes round on WhatsApp in October.

What order do the SSC papers usually follow?

The board has not published the 2027 order, so what follows is the pattern from 2026, labelled as such. First Language papers (Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and the others) opened the exams on 20 February 2026. English as first and third language came a week later, on 27 February. Mathematics Part I and Part II, Science and Technology Part I and Part II, and Social Sciences Papers I and II were all in March, with a day or two between each.

• Two shifts: 11 AM to 2 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Most main papers are in the morning shift.
• The two Maths papers and the two Science papers are each separated by a gap, not written on the same day.
• In 2026, Geography (Social Sciences Paper II) was the last paper, on 18 March.

If 2027 follows the same shape, you get your language papers first and the heaviest week, with Maths and Science, in the first half of March.

How should you plan from now to 15 February?

1. Finish the first full reading of every subject by the end of November. For Science, that means both Part I and Part II textbooks, including the activity-based questions.
2. Write one full paper per subject in December in the real shift, 11 AM to 2 PM, by hand. Use the board's own question paper format of 40 marks for Science Part I and Part II and 40 marks for each Maths paper.
3. Treat your school's preliminary exam in January as the dress rehearsal. Get that paper checked step by step and keep the list of comments.
4. Finish practicals and internal work early in the 28 January to 13 February window so that the last ten days are for revision only.
5. From 1 February, revise from your own corrected papers and the board's past question papers, not from new books.

Past papers with solutions for Science and Technology are in our Maharashtra SSC Science past papers post, and the other subjects are linked from there.

Hall ticket and the exam day

MSBSHSE sends SSC hall tickets to schools, and schools hand them to regular students, normally in the last two weeks of January. Check your name, photograph, subjects and centre the day you receive it, and report errors to the school the same day. Our MSBSHSE SSC hall ticket post explains the process and the corrections.

For how the other boards compare, our board exam date 2027 page lists every board's status in one place.

Gradehunt's Maharashtra Board SSC Class 10 test series gives you full papers in the board's format for every subject. You write them by hand, upload them, and ex-examiners check them within 48 hours with step-wise marks and comments on what the board's answer scheme expected. The first paper is checked free, and mentorship plans are available if you want a week-by-week plan built around the 15 February start.
