The exam pattern helps you understand how questions are asked. Social Science exam is of 80 marks and 3 hours duration. Internal assessment of 20 marks is conducted separately by schools.

Some chapters carry more importance in board exams. In History, Nationalism in India is the longest and most important chapter. Questions from this chapter appear every year with good weightage.

In Geography, Agriculture and Manufacturing Industries chapters are very important. Water Resources is also a scoring chapter. In Civics, Political Parties and Federalism need more attention. In Economics, all chapters are equally important.

Map questions carry 8 marks in your exam. This is easy scoring if you practice regularly. Practice both History and Geography maps at least 20 times before exams.

Ignoring Economics thinking it is difficult is wrong. Economics is very scoring if you understand basic concepts. Not reading NCERT textbook completely is another big mistake. Board questions come directly from NCERT only.
