Syllabus of Telangana Board, Class 10, Hindi Second Language

The total marks of Hindi Second Language are 100 marks with 80 marks for theory and 20 marks internal assessment. The overall marks required are 35, and at least 28 in theory to pass. The exam is a test of reading, writing, grammar and understanding skills in Hindi.

The syllabus is structured such that your language competence will be enhanced by using different elements such as prose, poetry, grammar and writing.

In your textbook, there is the amount of about 10-12 prose lessons with various themes:

Alankar (alNkaar) - Study figures of speech, such as Upma, Rupak, Utpreksha, and Anupras. Know how to tell them in poems.

Vakya Parivartan - Practice sentence converting active- passive voice, direct- indirect speech and affirmative-negative conversion.

Muhavare aur Lokoktiyan - Learn phrases and sayings and their meaning. Know how to use things in a sentence.
