Updated for the 2027 ISC exams: CISCE has announced changes reported to take effect from 2027 — a pass in English (or the new Modern English) plus at least four other subjects, SUPW/community service as a pass requirement, and Qualified/Not Qualified in place of Pass/Fail. Biology is the science of studying life and their interaction with the environment. The ICSE Class 12 Biology syllabus for 2025–26 centers around an understanding of life processes, genetics, ecology, and human physiology. The syllabus builds basic knowledge essential for medical professions, biotechnology, environmental science, and research.
