ICSI CS Result: How to Check It and What to Do Next

ICSI declares the CS Executive and CS Professional results on its website, icsi.edu, about two months after each session. The December 2026 exams run from 21 to 28 December, and ICSI has not yet notified the result date. The last two sessions were declared on 25 February 2026 and 25 August 2026, so my estimate for the December 2026 result is around 25 February 2027. I will update this page when ICSI announces it.

The result is only the start. Verification, inspection and certified copies each have a deadline that runs from the result date, so plan them before the result comes out.

When will the CS December 2026 result come out?

ICSI's time table for December 2026 lists the result date as "will be notified". The pattern is steady, though. The December 2025 result came on 25 February 2026, and the June 2026 result on 25 August 2026, with the Professional result in the morning and the Executive result in the afternoon. Treat 25 February 2027 as an estimate until ICSI confirms it.

The December 2026 result is expected around 25 February 2027, based on the last two sessions.

How do you check the ICSI CS result?

1. Open icsi.edu on the result day and click the result link for your programme.
2. Enter your roll number and registration number as they appear on your admit card.
3. Download the result page and save the PDF.
4. Check each paper's marks and the group result against the pass rule.

Keep the admit card handy on result day. If the page does not load, wait and try again on icsi.edu rather than using an unofficial result site.

You need only your roll number and registration number to check the result on icsi.edu.

What do you get after the result?

CS Executive

ICSI uploads an e-result-cum-marks statement that you download. It does not issue a printed copy to Executive students, so save the file in two places.

CS Professional

ICSI sends the result-cum-marks statement by post to your registered address. If it has not arrived after a few weeks, write to the examination department from your registered email. Check your address on the SMASH portal before the result.

Executive students download their statement. Professional students receive theirs by post.

What marks do you need to pass CS?

You need 40% in each paper and 50% of the total of the group. In CS Executive Group 1, with four papers, that means at least 40 in every paper and 200 out of 400. Scoring 70, 65, 42 and 38 gives 215, which clears the aggregate, but the 38 fails the group.

Every paper needs 40, and the group needs 50% overall.

Can you get your CS paper rechecked?

ICSI does not re-evaluate answers. It offers three services after the result, each applied for on the SMASH portal. These are the terms ICSI gave for the June 2026 session:

Verification of marks

Apply within 21 days of the result, for Rs 250 a subject. ICSI checks whether every answer was marked, whether the marks were totalled and posted correctly, and corrects any error it finds. For June 2026 the last date was 15 September.

Inspection of answer books

Apply within 30 days, for Rs 450 a subject. You see your answer book at ICSI's Noida office.

Certified copies

Apply within 30 days, for Rs 500 a subject. ICSI makes a scanned copy available online. If you missed a group by a few marks, this is the one I would ask for, because you can read the copy and judge whether verification is worth it. ICSI's deadlines are short, so decide within a week of the result.

Verification costs Rs 250 a subject within 21 days, and inspection or copies are available within 30 days.

What should you do after the CS result?

If you passed

Executive students can register for the Professional programme. Professional students move on to the training ICSI requires before membership. Read ICSI's current rules for your year of registration on icsi.edu, as they change.

If you missed a group

Enrol for the next session as soon as the window opens. Then use the certified copy and ICSI's suggested answers to find where the marks went, paper by paper.

Passed students register for the next stage, and those who missed a group should enrol early and study their copies.
