5 Chemical Reactions and Equations - Basic concepts of chemical reactions, basis of different types of chemical equations, redox reactions.

Acids, Bases and Salts - Characteristics, pH scale, significance of pH in everyday life

Metals and Non-metals – Physical and chemical properties; metal reactivity series; formation of ionic compounds. Corrosion.

Carbon and its Compounds - Covalent bond, properties of carbon compounds, soaps and detergents

Periodic Classification of Elements - Mendeleev's periodic table, modern periodic table

✔ Gujarat Board Class 10 Science Exam Pattern

The Science exam is divided into different sections with various types of questions. The total duration is 3 hours for 100 marks.
